Why trust these numbers?
Every classification here comes straight from the European Environment Agency's Bathing Water Directive dataset. We do not rate anything ourselves, and we do not take money from any beach, town or hotel.
A class is not one lucky sample. It is computed from four seasons of testing for E. coli and intestinal enterococci by national sanitary authorities.
We keep the full history, so you can see whether a beach has been consistently clean, has just turned around, or is slipping.
Nothing about jellyfish, currents, lifeguards or today's storm. Official portals hide that caveat; we put it on every page.
